Price accuracy and methodology

How we collect, order and describe prices.

Where prices come from

Prices are entered by approved retailers or by PriceBag administrators, either one at a time or by CSV import. We do not scrape retailer sites.

How offers are ordered

Offers are sorted from lowest to highest price in the currency you choose. Converted prices use the exchange rate set by PriceBag, which may differ from the retailer's or your bank's rate.

Freshness

Each offer shows the date its price was last updated. A price can change at the retailer at any time without us knowing.

Delivery and availability

Delivery cost is shown only when the retailer supplied it. When it is not shown, the listed price may not be the final cost. The lowest price highlighted for a product only considers offers marked in stock.

Price history

We record a price each time it changes on PriceBag. The history only covers changes made after a product was listed.

Wrong price?

Use Report an incorrect price on the product page. An administrator reviews every report.
